“Over the last year, I was feeling myself become less motivated in my career. I had still been putting in the commitment and working long hours but I was getting zero job satisfaction. I knew I needed to explore different options but could not think about them clearly.

I explored coaching options with Ingrid with a view to helping me overcome how I was feeling. The first step on our coaching journey was to set up a consultation, she asked me what exactly I wanted to work on and explained the coaching process.

At the consultation stage, I knew that we would have a successful coaching relationship. I felt so able to express my career and life dilemmas in a non judgmental space.

One of the first exercises we explored together was the analysis of my Motivational Map (a tool that Ingrid introduced to me). After answering a set of straightforward questions about my motivations, I was presented with a report which highlighted the aspects of a role that motivated me and importantly, whether these motivations were being fulfilled. Ingrid coached me to explore these results and in doing so I got greater clarity on the reasons why I was feeling "lost".

With an increased sense of confidence and clarity, I interviewed for two very different roles and received two offers. After coaching me through this life changing decision, Ingrid immediately knew the focus of our coaching sessions would shift to transitioning and preparing for my new role. This is when I knew that Ingrid was the coach to get me through all of the different challenges in my life and career, she was ahead of me in asking the right questions to allow me to push forward and rediscover my passion.”
